*If you want to print this information or share it with other people, you can download it as a PDF file on right-hand side*

Ambition for Ageing is a project in Greater Manchester.

It is paid for with a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund.

We want to help people aged 50 and over make where they live better.

Ambition for Ageing is run by a charity called Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation (GMCVO).

It is happening in 3 or 4 neighbourhoods in each of these areas:

  • Bolton
  • Bury
  • Manchester
  • Oldham
  • Rochdale
  • Salford
  • Tameside
  • Wigan

We want people in these areas to tell us what kind of project would make where they live better.

People can do this by talking to the Ambition for Ageing worker in their area.

They can then apply for money to make their project happen.

We have to tell the National Lottery Community Fund what projects we are doing.

We also have to tell the National Lottery Community Fund if these projects are making places better for people aged 50 and over.

If you have an idea or a question please talk to us.  We would love to hear from you.
