At the very beginning of the Ambition for Ageing programme, ten people from across three wards got together to start the process of signing off investment ideas.  Everyone was there because they had heard about Ambition for Ageing from various community based events.  Together, suggestions for a 'terms of reference' were discussed and reviewed, and a format and process for handling investment proposals paperwork was agreed.

Already this meeting started to change lives  one member of the group told us that until he had seen the notices about Ambition for Ageing and come out to the events, he had rarely spoken to other people and was very much enjoying being part of the project.
