Our lead organisation GMCVO is collating intelligence about the Greater Manchester VCSE sector response to the crisis, what is happening to the sector and to the communities it connects into, as well as issues, concerns and queries.

This information is being passed directly on a weekly basis to:

• Greater Manchester public sector (GMCA & GM H&SC Partnership)
• The Mayor’s Covid meeting and the GM Economic Resilience Group (which includes business infrastructure)
• Contact in Department of Culture, Media and Sport, who is ensuring VCSE concerns are fed into government decisions
• Our national VCSE infrastructure: NCVO, NAVCA and SEUK

John Hannen is acting as the link person between public and VCSE sectors at GM level, and is supported by a small team of people.

GMCVO are also publishing guidance, support and resources for VCSE organisations here.
