Ambition for Ageing are celebrating The National Lottery’s 25th Birthday this year, a landmark moment to tell the public about the incredible difference The National Lottery has made – and continues to make – to the lives of people and communities throughout the whole of the UK. 

Our local delivery leads and other programme providers have made a real difference to the lives of older people and local neighbourhoods across Greater Manchester.

The 25th birthday is a moment to celebrate the extraordinary impact The National Lottery has had on the UK, and to say thank you to National Lottery players for contributing around £30 million to good causes every week.

The official birthday is 19th November 2019 and the peak of activity will be in October and November. From now and throughout the summer, The National Lottery will be promoting what organisations have made happen with National Lottery funding.
