New report: Nature and Ageing Well in Towns and Cities
The Green infrastructure and the Health and wellbeing Influences on an Ageing population (GHIA) project was a collaboration between three Greater Manchester universities and: the Greater Manchester Ageing Hub; the Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation’s Ambition for Ageing project; the Canal and River Trust; Manchester Climate Change Agency; Manchester City Council; Manchester Arts and Galleries Partnership; and City of Trees.
The report sets out findings from a three-year research project aiming to understand the benefits and values of urban green infrastructure to older people and how green infrastructure attributes and interventions can best support healthy ageing in urban areas.
