The Pemberton project launch was held at The Music Projects music and media collage in Ormskirk Road, Wigan

There was  a great turnout with lots of local residents, group leaders, local churches, representatives from Wigan Borough Council etc. Chief Officer, John Mcardle, and Central Services Manager, Sarah Shannon, also came to support the event.

Sunshine House (Scholes) provided a wonderful buffet lunch prior to an overview of the project and interactive asset mapping session. 

The feedback from the session was 100% positive and lots of groups had ideas for investments. The unusual choice of venue was popular, not only because of its high street location, but many said they were curious to see inside as it was not somewhere they would normally get a chance to get to see.
