The Greater Manchester Combined Authority has launched a campaign for International Day of Older Persons, highlighting the crucial roles older people have played in the city region during the COVID-19 pandemic. We and a number of organisations and groups across Greater Manchester, including Local Authories, GreaterSport and Talking About my Generation are involved in highlighting stories of older people across the region. 

The campaign also sees the launch of the Old Frame New Picture Photography Competition. Our partners, the Greater Manchester Older People's Network (GMOPN) are inviting all photographers, that’s both professionals and amateurs to submit images which celebrate the diversity of older people’s lives and their contributions to society.
